My Bunnies

I love animals, and I help my Mom foster and care for many different critters. I'm sure she likes to think she does most of the work, but we all know the truth, she couldn't do it without me.
I have 9 bunnies I care for, 2 Degus, 25+ gerbils and 6 hamsters, as you can see I'm very busy. I also help rescue rabbits who have been abandoned outside. Without me the Rescue Volunteers could try for days to get the rabbit but with my help it takes just hours.

So here you will meet the Pet's I have and care for every day.

Baby & Bubba Jack

Baby & Bubba were my first rabbits ever. They are two neutered males Mom adopted for me. We have a good time eating treats and playing together.
Baby is a Jersey Woolly and Bubba Jack is a Mini Lop... though for a mini he's a bit on the pudgy side.
They like to share their pellets and pumpkin with me, I wish Mom would just listen to me when I tell her they LET ME have it, I didn't steal it. sheesh.

Bo & Aniseed

Aniseed (AKA Ani) was the first bunny I helped rescue. Poor Ani was lost outside covered in motor oil, Mom and I rounded her up, took her inside for a bath, gave her food, water and lots of love. Mom let me keep her after that. Befor Bo came around, it was just Ani and I sharing upstairs, us bacheloretts living in style.

Bo came to me when Mom's cousin went off to college, I had met Bo before and we got along real well. When Mom told me Bo was coming to live with us forever, I was super excited.

Bo and I are best buddies. I know it makes his girlfriend Ani kind of jealous, I'm sure if we were the same species he would be MY boyfriend instead of hers. I love to lick and groom him, his fur feels so soft. Bo is called a Rex Rabbit, Mom says his colour is 'lynx' I think that sounds very exotic. Bo's about 5 years old. Aniseed is a mix like me, she's going to be two years old soon, her colouring is called 'broken' though I don't know why as she seems fine to me.

PitStop

PitStop is my newest bunny, Mom was fostering him with her handicap bunny named Ebony. Ebony had to go to The Rainbow Bridge and so Pitstop had no bunny friends, instead he lives like me, has the run of the house when Mom & Dad are home. Pitstop (AKA Pitters) is a super fun bunny to play with, I have to tell him sometimes not to do bad things, like pull out the carpet, or chew the furniture. I don't know what Mom & Dad would do if they didn't have me to keep this little guy in line!
Pitstop is maybe around 5 or so, we don't know (and he won't tell!). He is also a rescued bunny who someone just tossed out in a cage on the side of a busy road in the rain. He has teeth problems, they grow all funny, though you can't tell by looking at him. Mom said because he needs to see a dentist often, he is going to live with us forever. I think that's great, because he's way more entertaining then the TV.

Ebony

This is Ebony, she came to live with us because her family said they couldn't keep her anymore. Ebony wasn't like other bunnies, and it wasn't because if her big personality and bunny-tude. Ebony had a spinal fracture that made her partially paralyzed making it hard for her to move around. I helped Mom take real good care of Ebony, we kept her spoiled rotton. Because Ebony couldn't clean herself all that well I made sure to help her.
Ebony's little body became real sick and so Mom had to help Ebony go to the Bridge, we don't talk about it much cuz it's real sad. I miss her allot, and so do the other bunnies.

So Many Critters, So Little Time

These are just my forever bunnies, I still have more I have to care for each day. Sometimes we have new bunnies come to stay with us for a while. It's not just bunnies either, I've taken care of Rats, Chinchillas, Degus, Guinea Pigs and then there are all the real little guys, like the Gerbil and Hamsters.

Here I will introduce you to some of our little guys and our Fosters

My Degus

Bruce & George.
George is a real silly guy, he's always trying to hitch a ride on my back. Do I look like a horse?
Bruce is Georges Dad, he has a bad eye so I help Mom keep his cage extra clean, picking up as many spare poops as I can.
These guys are SO much fun, they make a lot of noise when it's dinner time, and when it's fun time Mom lets them run all over my house! They like to nibble my toes, what weird little creatures.

My Gerbils

I have A LOT of gerbils, I think my Mom's gerbil obsessed or something?
Anyways, When Mom & Dad adopted me, gerbils were my first pet. I had two boys named Chevy & Blazer they were super fun guys. My Next pair of gerbils were two girls named Mercedes and Lexus, all those guys have since gone to the Rainbow Bridge, and Mom keeps taking in more gerbils who need a home, and so my work never ends.

My hamsters

So they were all supposed to be foster hamsters, but Mom said we could keep some of them. Right now I have 6 dwarf hammies, 5 boys and one girl.
Ayla is the little girl hamster, and she is so fun to watch.  5 are crazy boys who can run so fast when Mom has them out to play. The boys names are Happy, Bobby, Billy, Sonney and Mr.Deeds.
Happy is Mom's hamster, and he lives upstairs with us and not in the rodent room with the others. While Mom watches people TV, I watch Happy TV.
